In 2012 they entered the studio known as A Secret Place (a friend’s extra bedroom turned home studio) to create an album that would intrigue the listeners into their sound. It is a real sound. What you hear is what you get. All the bands you hear nowadays are overproduced. Triggered drums, dropped tunings, and are all doing the same things. Pipewrench is none of these things.
